Sound familiar?
are you dealing with…
Leadership Challenges
Are you acting more like a BOSS and less like a LEADER?
Do you find yourself telling people what they should do? Micromanaging?
And….are you trying to take care of everyone else but aren’t taking care of yourself?
Leadership takes effort. It takes self-reflection. I always say that nobody understands what it means to be a leader unless they have “sat in the chair.”
Team Conflict
One thing I know is this….if you are reading this, you lead with passion and purpose. You care about the people you work with.
But, you are ready to share that leadership with the people on your team so that you can enjoy life again.
You understand that empowering others to lead exponentially increases your ability to work using your gifts and talents.
Communication Issues
This is why you need someone who will help you get to the root of your challenges with honest feedback.
You don’t need any more opinions or advice.
You need a sounding-board. You need someone who understands communication, can see beyond the obvious challenges you are facing, and is ready to get to the heart of the matter and create a plan to help you maximize your leadership.

Leadership Starts With You
Hey there! I’m Deanna!
Hi! I’m Deanna (9w1). Accredited Enneagram practitioner and leadership coach.
As a former teacher and military spouse, I have always been focused on understanding people, finding the best in them, and communicating effectively. I have prioritized my own learning in an effort to understand and serve others.
You could say I’m a perpetual student. My motto is “if you stop getting better, you stop being good.” I also have a knack for looking at a complex situation and figuring out what the root issues are.
I believe that in order to grow, we must be open to different ideas, opinions, and ways of doing things. This doesn’t mean you have to change who you are, but there is power in acknowledging that not everyone has the same view as you. When we can meet others where they are, we increase our capacity to build trust and lead them.
I’ve learned along the way that leadership isn’t positional, and there is nothing stronger than showing empathy in the workplace. I believe that when you understand yourself and others, you can overcome any barrier to communication. You do not need a position to lead. You don’t need permission to lead. All you need is a heart of service and a desire to look around and ask, “How can I best be of service to others?”
Now, I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from three decades of educational leadership, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning and turned it into a framework to help you build leadership in your organization.
